When we take any part of that out, we diminish the act. If we take one part out, it's not for the purposes of procreation, it's not one of the reasons, then you diminish this very special bond between men and women. So, why can't you take other parts of that out? And then all of the sudden it becomes deconstructed to the point where it's simply pleasure, and that's certainly a part of it, and it's an important part, don't get me wrong. But there is a lot of things we do for pleasure and this is special and it needs to be seen as special."

Rick Santorum sure earns his infamy. What gives him the gall to say what is "supposed to be"? Does that sort of arrogance come from pretending to talk to Jesus too much?

What gives him the gall? The entire hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church. He's just reciting the orthodox Catholic position. I think the RCC underestimates the degree to which it undermines their moral authority, especially in places where AIDS is a serious problem, but they seem pretty committed.

See now, the Catholic church is entirely run by gay pedophiles and so long as you stick to shagging boys there's no need for contraception. So they don't want to pay for anything they don't need.

In a catholic boys school we always knew which priests we couldn't trust. Almost none of us came out of there still catholic. We did come out with a good understanding of hypocrisy though.
