The US government can afford to send Israel 3 billion dollars and weapons every year used to kill Palestinians and now Lebanese, however they cannot afford to foot the bill to evacuate Americans in the path of Israelis bombs and are even encouraged by Bush to drop more.

The U.S. also can't afford to clean up its own cities and always cuts funding for education. Why on earth would they be expected to foot the bill for evacuation of its own tax-paying citizens due to a conflict they (Bush) are backing?
