A silver lining in a large dark cloud is something to revere.
Thousands of dead Iraqi and hundreds of dead troops to capture Saddam. They have only tardy redemtion. So, while you pound your chest, keep in mind you celebrate over thousand of corpses and some reverence of that fact is appropriate. Let's hope now the Iraqi will be free to choose the euro or the dollar at their own will. Lets hope they are free to choose their own form of government and their own business partners. Let's hope our troops may soon return. Perhaps the war profiteering will soon cease. Perhaps Saddam will be tried and punished for his crimes, and those who supported him - those who sold him the gas he used on the Kurds and the weapons used on Iranians - will also be tried and punished for their part.
Hmm, note the Hammer & Sickle, seems the Iraqi Communist Party is stronger without Saddam. Am told the Iraqi Communists are more cooperative than the religious minded bodies.

The more people think the game is about gunning down or capturing bad guys, the less the systemic abuse of power will be appreciated. (How about that Halliburton scam? Bush's reaction? "Gee, I think they should give the money back." ... what kind of response is that to villainy?)
