Votes win elections. We obtain votes by getting ourselves out into our streets registering our friends and neighbors to vote and then encouraging them to vote.

The side that does more of this work, wins. It is as simple as that. Movie ticket sales do not win elections. Internet site hit counts do not win elections.

Which means our asses are on the line. We have a representative democracy, and we are accountable for our governments actions. If we don't vote, we will soon lose our right to do so.
