Vice President Cheney, August 26, 2002: "Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction . . . What he wants is time, and more time to husband his resources to invest in his ongoing chemical and biological weapons program, and to gain possession of nuclear weapons."

Secretary Colin L. Powell speaking to United Nations Security Council February 5, 2003: " the facts and Iraq's behavior show that Saddam Hussein and his regime are concealing their efforts to produce more weapons of mass destruction . . . Look at the image on the left. On the left is a close-up of one of the four chemical bunkers. The two arrows indicate the presence of sure signs that the bunkers are storing chemical munitions. . . . 550 artillery shells with mustard, 30,000 empty munitions and enough precursors to increase his stockpile to as much as 500 tons of chemical agents. . . . A single drop of VX on the skin will kill in minutes . . . Our conservative estimate is that Iraq today has a stockpile of between 100 and 500 tons of chemical weapons agent. That is enough agent to fill 16,000 battlefield rockets. . . . When we confront a regime that harbors ambitions for regional domination, hides weapons of mass destruction, and provides haven and active support for terrorists, we are not confronting the past; we are confronting the present. And unless we act, we are confronting an even more frightening future. . . . We know that Saddam Hussein is determined to keep his weapons of mass destruction . . . Leaving Saddam Hussein in possession of weapons of mass destruction for a few more months or years is not an option, not in a post-September 11th world."

President Bush, March 17, 2003: "Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised. This regime has already used weapons of mass destruction against Iraq's neighbors and against Iraq's people."

Secratary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, Sunday, March 30, 2003 : "Not at all. If you think -- let me take that, both pieces -- the area in the south and the west and the north that coalition forces control is substantial. It happens not to be the area where weapons of mass destruction were dispersed. We know where they are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat."

President Bush (2004 state of the union address): "the Kay Report identified dozens of weapons of mass destruction-related program activities"

David Kay (Kay report Oct 2nd 2003): "We have discovered dozens of WMD-related programme activities . . . We have not yet found stocks of weapons . . . We have not yet been able to corroborate the existence of a mobile BW (biological weapons) production effort . . . . Multiple sources (say) that Iraq did not have a large, ongoing, centrally controlled CW (chemical warfare) program after 1991 . . . . (and) to date we have not uncovered evidence that Iraq undertook significant post-1998 steps to actually build nuclear weapons or produce fissile material . . . . (and) no detainee has admitted any actual knowledge of plans for unconventional warheads for any current or planned ballistic missile.".

David Kay this week: "I don't think they existed," Kay said. "What everyone was talking about is stockpiles produced after the end of the last (1991) Gulf War, and I don't think there was a large-scale production program in the '90s," he said. "I think we have found probably 85 percent of what we're going to find," said Kay, who returned from Iraq in December and told the CIA that he would not be going back. "I think the best evidence is that they did not resume large-scale production and that's what we're really talking about," Kay said. (David Kay has also fingered Syria)

Powell's recent comments agreeing with David Kay and disagreeing with his own comments (last year in front of the UN)?

Dick Cheney, who said in an interview with National Public Radio on Thursday: "I believe they had programmes designed to produce weapons of mass destruction. We still don't know the whole extent of what they did have?

The CIA warns of an impending civil war in Iraq (well duh).

In the wake of the war, Islamic Law seriously threatens womens rights in Iraq.

The Iraqi Shias demand free elections (the most votes win) and the UN agrees .
Such a concept must disturb the Bush administration.

500 pairs of empty Army boots symbolize Iraq war dead "More than 500 pairs of empty Army boots were placed side-by-side in downtown Chicago Wednesday to serve as a reminder of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq."

Soon Bush shall declare there are not enough dead people in the world, we need to increase WMD production!
